The ancient Roman colony where carried the Via Appia road, became not very attractive nowadays.
Brindisi is especially a momentary and industrial port. The connections with Greece are there attend: in particular for the islands of Corfo, Kefalonia, for Igoumenitsa and Patras in the Peloponnese.
